Nude Raider and Lara Croft Rule 34 have provided some awesome laughs over the years. There is reality, followed by that character's reality, and then a fantasy reality involving that character. Such a thing would be out of character as a matter of fact. Same deal with Lara, esspecially considering I play the games and I really enjoy her character. If he were to be portrayed in such a way in an official comicbook, television show, movie, etc, it would be wrong as in going aginst the character as well as seriously angering some parents. I personally feel that Superman is a comic book superhero who saves lives along with many other non sexual related activities. The bottom line is Whether it's a video game character, manga character, celebrity, or an actual porn star, the idea of them being used in such ways is to make up for someone's fantasy that cannot be fulfilled. It is strange because she is not actually real and is, in her natural state, not meant for pornographic use. I personally don't want her to come alive because she'd probably screw something up and have the entire earth blown up, if of course her universe came to life as well. I see Lara Croft as a character who stars in video games targeted to teens and young/ old adults. Your explaination was very unclear, to me at least. As for my explanation of why I find it a bit odd, it has already been posted. It seems as though many love her so much, they actually insist on her as being something which is actually real (as in an actual living, breathing, etc. I think this goes beyond just the nudity, pornography part of Lara Croft. That being said, I still think it's safe to assume that they are what children refer to as 'make believe' or 'made up'. For all I know, there might be actual living cartoon characters in this world.
